Wild raspberry and red cherry characters dominate while soft sweet brown spice characters add in detail. Savoury red cherry notes lead the wine onto the palate; the wine flows with good texture. Fine elegant tannins rise out of the mid-palate and with wild raspberry notes drive the finish alongside fine acidity.
Deep purple in colour. Classic aromas of lifted blackcurrant, blackberry and mint on the nose. Flavours follow through of sweet berry-fruit accented by fresh muddled mint. Elegant, structured palate with big velvety tannins.

The palate is generously full and fruity with plush velvety tannins that lead on to a lingering tangy aftertaste. While ready to drink on release we expect this wine to improve for several years and live for well over a decade with careful cellaring.
