This Chardonnay reflects the elegant landscape surrounding Kim Crawford's Hawke's Bay vineyards as well as the complexity of the wild fermentation method. Stone fruit and citrus aromas are enhanced by baking spice and brioche from regular battonage in fine French oak barriques. Concentrated, taut and mineral with a silken texture.

A long, cool ferment and extended post ferment maceration soak lead to beautiful colour extraction and rich, deep fruit and spice flavours. The grapes were pressed before undergoing malolactic fermentation and barrel ageing in 25% new French oak to add further complexity and texture.
