Kim Crawford Small Parcels are micro-cuvées representing the very best of what New Zealand's pristine, cool-climate vineyards can produce. This Chardonnay reflects the elegant landscape surrounding Kim Crawford's Hawke's Bay vineyards as well as the complexity of the wild fermentation method. Stone fruit and citrus aromas are enhanced by baking spice and brioche from regular battonage in fine French oak barriques. Concentrated, taut and mineral with a silken texture.

The wine is light straw in colour and offers aromas of red apple, pear, nectarine and nougat. This a very easy to drink wine, smooth and rounded, dry and with medium weight. Crisp and dry, medium weight with a juicy mid-palate and a nice gentle finish. Ripe apple, poached pear and citrus flavours.

The musts undergo very little racking, in order to develop the wine's volume, yet maintain its freshness. 100% pressed rosé, its floral on the nose and clean on entry. The nose is packed with an abundance of citrus and stone fruit, together with the tropical aromas of pineapple and guava. Interspersed also with floral notes reminiscent of honeysuckle and jasmine.
