Crisp apples from the Hawke's Bay provide both the clouds & the silver lining in this refreshing cider from Mac's. This is a classically cloudy traditional style cider, smooth upfront with a fresh, slightly tangy finish.

Mac's Freeride is a pale ale brewed to be super low in alcohol but still full in flavour by the process of arrested fermentation. Pale and crystal malts are used to give the beer a smooth, caramelised malt flavour and full body. Fermentation is controlled to keep alcohol at less than 0.5% and then the beer is dry-hopped with New Zealand Nectaron hops, giving aromas of tropical fruit plus notes of peach and grapefruit.

Mac's Gold is the talisman of the Mac's family, an all malt lager brewed naturally with hints of citrus and sweet malts. Mac's Gold is the First, the Original, the Supreme naturally brewed all malt lager unbroken and therefore unfixed since 1983. It's remained ahead of the curve, at the bleeding edge thanks to its delicate caramel sweetness and crisp, clean aftertaste. While a modicum of classic malt helps to put body into Hop Rocker, that's hardly why it's so called. Smell those citrus aromas. Savour those bitter notes. Interstate is Mac's take on a classic American Pale Ale. Brewed to bring out the punchy citrus and pine notes of the Citra and Mosaic hops.

Like a rockstar with a day job, this Session Pale Ale keeps its hoppy flavour blaring, but cuts the alcohol content in half. This brew definitely gets its fans cheering. Mid strength and full-on flavour are the things that make this creation sing. Mid Vicious is the little brother to the Mac's pale ale family.

A Mac's take on the NEIPA (New England-style IPA), brewed to be lower in bitterness than traditional IPAs, but still very generously hopped, both in the brewhouse and dry-hopped in fermentation, with an emphasis on producing juicy, tropical fruit flavours. The large amount of dry-hopping is also what gives the beer its hazy appearance. And at 5.2% ABV it makes for a very sessionable brew.

Mac's Slim Hazy is a Hazy IPA brewed to be low in carbs but still full in flavour. Slim Hazy uses Citra and Simcoe hops in the brewhouse and again for dry-hopping, this gives the beer both the right level of bitterness as well as up-front flavour and aroma. Mac's Slim Hazy has notes of passionfruit, pine and stone fruit. Overall, an easy drinking, very session-able IPA.
