The Rabbit Ranch Sauvignon Blanc is a blend of Sauvignon Blanc from their vineyards in the South Island of New Zealand and the Central Otago Rabbit Ranch home block. A cool climate, elegant yet assertive style Sauvignon Blanc, left on the lees for approx 3 months to tone down some of the overt grassy, grapefruit notes and giving a lovely textural boost to the wine.

The Jones family are original pioneers of Marlborough, with William Jones founding the Starborough homestead and sheep station in 1865. Four generations later the original Starborough homestead block in the Awatere valley continues to thrive and is now producing world class wine. This Sauvignon Blanc is a refreshing wine bursting with aromas of pungent passionfruit and tropical fruits with fresh herb and lime notes. The bright pristine palate is filled with juicy, powerful passionfruit and tropical fruit flavours. This is a concentrated rich wine finishing long with fresh mouthwatering acidity.

Stoneleigh are able to capture the natural early ripening characteristics of the Rapaura sub-region appellation, harvesting the grapes early with a full flavour profile to make a range of wines that are 25% lower in alcohol. This wine opens with bright aromas of grapefruit and capsicum, which follow through to the palate, joined by gooseberry, passionfruit and lime flavours. The wine is refreshingly dry, yet soft and approachable; light in body and big on flavour, with crisp lime notes, lasting long on the finish.

In Stoneleigh's Marlborough vineyards, sunstones absorb sunshine during the day, radiating heat onto the vines at night, resulting in their distinctly vibrant wines. Stoneleigh Sauvignon Blanc displays fresh and varietally true aromas of passionfruit and cut grass. On the palate, vibrant citrus fights to burst through before a succulent and crisp finish. Intensely fruity and very drinkable, this wine is a terrific aperitif and also pairs deliciously with seafood.
